These courses are suited to self-paced learning for those whose grief does not require individualised professional management. If in doubt, please consult your health care practitioner before accessing these courses. They are not a substitute or alternative to clinical care.

Assessment of Grief

I offer assessment of grief via telehealth, and provision of a management plan (without provision of grief therapy) to a treating General Practitioner. This is typically one or two sessions. I require:

Medicolegal Assessment of Grief

I provide assessment of grief for purposes of medicolegal reports.

Medicolegal assessment of grief is useful for those bereaved through:

  • Workplace accident
  • Criminal offence
  • Motor vehicle accident
  • Medical misadventure
  • Pandemic related bereavement
  • Work stress associated suicide
  • Income protection claims arising from impairing grief

Workplace Bereavement Service

I provide specialist bereavement advice to corporations and workplaces seeking assistance following unexpected bereavement or corporate training in grief and bereavement management.

Note: I request that psychiatric or medical co-morbidity be managed in primary or specialist care, as this facilitates my delivery of Prolonged Grief Therapy. My practice is out-patient and non-acute. I do not provide inpatient care, emergency, out of hours service or cover whilst I am on leave. I am a solo practitioner and small business operator.
